Code of Conduct for Next-DRF Community
The Next-DRF community, developed by Cointavia, is committed to creating an inclusive, safe, and welcoming environment for everyone. This Code of Conduct outlines our expectations for all participants and explains the consequences of unacceptable behavior.
1. Our Pledge
We pledge to make participation in our project and community a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, visible or invisible disability, ethnicity, gender identity, level of experience, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.
We are committed to fostering a positive environment where everyone feels welcome and encouraged to contribute to the Next-DRF project.
2. Expected Behavior
2.1 Be Respectful

- Offer support and encouragement to fellow contributors, especially those who are new.

3. Unacceptable Behavior
3.1 Harassment and Discrimination
- Harassment or discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.
- This includes offensive comments related to age, body size, visible or invisible disability, ethnicity, gender identity, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, sexual identity, or orientation.
3.2 Disruptive Conduct
- Disrespectful behavior that disrupts the project or the community is unacceptable.
- Examples include bullying, spreading false information, or attempting to intimidate others.
3.3 Personal Attacks
- Personal attacks, insults, or threats towards any community member are strictly prohibited.
- Focus on addressing the content of a discussion rather than the person involved.
4. Reporting Issues
4.1 How to Report
- If you experience or witness behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please report it by contacting the project maintainers via email or through the project's GitHub repository.
4.2 Confidentiality
- All reports will be handled with complete confidentiality.
- We will make every effort to ensure that those reporting issues feel safe and respected throughout the process.
4.3 Response
- Reports will be reviewed and investigated promptly, and appropriate actions will be taken to address any violations.
5. Enforcement
5.1 Consequences of Unacceptable Behavior
- Community members who violate this Code of Conduct may face consequences including, but not limited to:
- A warning or request for an apology.
- Temporary or permanent suspension from community interactions.
- Removal from the Next-DRF project or related repositories.
5.2 Appeal
- Any individual who has been removed or banned from the community may file an appeal. Appeals will be reviewed by the maintainers on a case-by-case basis.
6. Acknowledgments
This Code of Conduct is adapted from various open-source codes of conduct, including the Contributor Covenant, to foster a healthy, productive, and inclusive environment for all participants.
